I would see no reason to discard any of them, as I might want to go back later with future improved software to do additional tweaks. In my workflow, I would save the original jpg and RAW from the camera, the DNG created by DxO PureRAW, any further changes by additional RAW editing program(s) and the final jpg output.
I decided some years ago to not be concerned about storage space, so that is not an issue for me. I shoot a lot of 4K video and also use a Sony A7RIV.
